  • Love will find a way.....

    "AGAPE LOVE"

"Love will find a way. Indifference will find an excuse." - my friend Brock

This quote really just hit me, the moment I read it...it SO pertains to my situation!

God found a way, the ONLY WAY, the most desperate & final of ways, to bring us to Him: He sent Jesus to die for our sins. God's death on the cross proves to be the single most act of love that anyone can ever mention in all of human history or mankind.

Jesus told us to love God with all our heart as the first commandment, then the second was almost like it: to love our neighbor as ourselves. The Bible also tells us in the New Testament for husbands to love their wives as Christ gave up Himself for the church.

In relation to this quote & my current situation, the simple answer is this: my fiance never loved me. If he loved me, he would have tried to work out any problem he thought we had.....but he didn't. (to me, our only problems were the language/cultural barriers)

In 1 Corinthians 13, we are told that "love never fails." If it is real love, it never fails. 1 Cor 13 also says that love "always perseveres (which means even under trial)."

If we were to love each other in the way that God loved us, how do you think this world would change? Wow...every country in this world would most certainly know Christ, & then Jesus would come back to take us Home.

My heart is currently going through a deep healing process. Forgive me if I sound a bit bitter & angry, too. I've heard the quote "Love hath no fury like a woman scorned." (or is it "Hell hath no fury..." ?) Anyway, I hope that my process can bring some healing to you as well, & can open your eyes as well like God is opening mine.

    it's "Hell hath...."

You don't sound mad. I'm actually learning stuff from this.

Good....I'm glad! Praise God! :) He uses our suffering & our trials to bless & encourage & grow others. :) I hope you can implement it into your life.

I'm just playing the Devil's Advocate , but "indifferent" means you wouldn't care either way. Should that mean you're tolerant of stuff no matter what?

Then again I know you're upset, and I don't know the whole story. Sorry you're going through this.
